Governance and Policy Advisor
Since 2004, Dianah has developed a specialism in managing and enabling the transfer of estate management companies from developer to resident control, as part of the handover of sites upon completion. This has required patience, sensitivity and tenacity to coordinate between surveyors, lawyers, residents, developers and managing agents to get the land parcels approved by land registry, anomalies resolved, highways adopted, financial settlements agreed, and recruitment and support of resident directs to ensure smooth transfer of a fit for purpose Management Company.
Dianah has experience with developing the required processes, policies and procedures for charitable organisations and is currently administering the set up of allotments, including all operational aspects such as marketing and leasing them to plot holders.
Dianah has strong management and coordination skills, and is used to supervising small task orientated teams. She has ten years of experience as an international consultant with Kodak, concentrating on human resource management and support for their European Systems. She specialises in project management, with her experience derived from coordinating many projects in different divisions within both the technical and marketing teams at Kodak.
Dianah has experience in managing and letting property in the private rented sector, and of charity management, acting as a Trustee and Administrator to Transformation Powerhouse. Dianah is also an excellent trainer, having run courses in presentation skills, facilitation skills, project management, self esteem for women, and has organised and ran indoor and outdoor teambuilding events for diverse groups.
